Whanau Ako – Family Learning in Whangarei!
Regent Training Centre is excited to announce the start of a fantastic new programme that focuses on families empowering themselves through learning.
As part of our government funded Literacy and Numeracy programme, eligible learners in Whangarei will be able build their capabilities in English and Maths, all the while helping to raise the rest of their families’ education levels. The programme is free to those eligible, and you are encouraged to bring along your children or anyone else in your family to class who you would like to help with English and Maths.
Regent Training Centre’s skilled Tutors will help you with your own literacy and numeracy, all the while teaching you to teach your tamariki or husband or wife! The teaching – learning takes place within a supportive environment that will build your confidence and also that of your families.
